The Donut Trail is a self-guided passport trail run by Travel Butler County. The passport lists 14 numbered stops from Middletown to West Chester; get a stamp at each shop, and once the passport has 12 or more stamps, mail it in or bring it to the bureau's office for the official T-shirt. The bureau says Oxford Doughnut Shoppe is optional.
Timing is the part the bureau stresses. Shops keep different days and hours, some are closed Sundays and Mondays, and some sell out and close early, by 10AM in some cases. The trail isn't a one-day event, so it can be split across visits, and the bureau runs a concierge line on weekdays for route planning.

Passport rules
At each location, ask a staff member to fill in your Passport with the official Donut Trail stamp. Visit at least a dozen shops to earn the Donut Trail T-Shirt!
Passport must have at least 12 stamps to earn the T-Shirt reward.
Passports must be fully completed to be eligible for the T-shirt prize (Oxford Doughnut Shoppe is optional).
*No purchase necessary. Please check days/hours of operation, and note shops may close once sold out. Limit one Passport per visitor. Must be present to have Passport stamped. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

For t-shirt collection, Travel Butler County's hours are typically Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. Due to light staffing, please call prior to collection to verify hours.
Timing and hours
Please be aware that some donut shops are closed on Sundays and Mondays, and some shops will close for the day once they sell out, even if it’s before their scheduled closing time.
Some shops on the trail have been known to sell out/close by 10AM. Please plan an early start to devour and enjoy the delicious Donut Trail.
A typical batch of yeast glazed donuts can take 4-5 hours to make.
No, the Donut Trail is open for travel, and can be completed at your own pace! Keep in mind the trail is self-guided, and you can start and finish wherever you'd like!
