Our take written by I Ate Ohio
Experience Columbus runs this trail as a mobile pass: sign up, get the pass by text and email, and check in by GPS at participating shops. The pass page prints two rewards, a T-shirt at 4 points and a custom candle at 12 points, and says all check-ins and prize redemptions must be completed by the deadline it prints.
The launch announcement lists 17 stops and names 13 of them, and it put the candle at 13 points; the pass page prints 12. Our list is limited to the 13 businesses named in the launch announcement. The pass page also carries a peanut-allergy note.
Our plain-language reading of the bureau's words quoted on this page. It adds no facts of its own.
